It never fails.
EVERY single time I see the name "Ekka", or think of him as a person, I get a mental picture of Paul Hogan, (aka Mick Dundee) from the movie. That's just my own personal mental picture of who Ekka is.
Actually its a cross between Crocodile Dundee and Steve Irwin.
Somewhere in there is our amiable and intelligent, tree-climbing (and sometimes, hugging), slightly nerdy, Ekka.
