Brooklyn... man, that may as well be as far from here as Sydney. My dad was from Brooklyn. Grandmother had a brownstone house there. Never liked that place. What used to be called Little Norway is now just a part of BIG Puerto Rico. No hablan Ingles ahora. Burned out cars in the streets, and the local store there had all bullet proof glass and stainless steel, and a drawer slot for money to go in and booze bottles to go out. East LA... I lived in LA for a while. Up in the Hollywood Hills. Nice people, hated living in that the place though. I could understand East LA. Se Habla Espanol, y Ingles. Compton (what was Watts, before the first riots) was worse. East San Diego was also worse. Lived in San Diego for 7 years, more livable, nice beaches, but way too crowded there now. Was there during the Rodney King riots. They burned a lot of stuff donw there that week. I bought an AR-15 and a Colt model 1911 .45 that week too. The Ozarks... never been there, or Down Under.
I fear that my velcro shoes wound give out if I went to Australia, and I would fall off the earth into space. Is that true? I mean, I read about it online, so there must be some truth to that...
