I'll be honest and tell you that I've been putting off posting on this one because I'm lazy and didn't want to use paint but anyway...agree with what has been said esp leaving temp laterals..also the future troubles you might have with codominance...so here's a couple of pictures!!!
The subordinating cuts are in yellow, full removal pruning cuts red....why subordinate rather than just snip off the lot? Stem taper for one, and leaving a reasonable amount of foliage on for the next 12 monthns for another.
