Default Re: Storm Damaged Pine

I mainly work around service that I don't really worry about because around here it rarley exceeds 400volts and the insulation stays on them pretty well.Howvever the primarys often have cracks in thier insulation.I don't fool with primarys but service drops or secondarys I won't hesitate. The only time I turned down a power related job was a friend of mine called when he got home from work after a wind storm and had a pecan branch streching the wires tight and he still had power in his house he called me and I told him call the power co and have them send a guy with a bucket.i don't usually care what happens to me but that would be stupid to attempt as a climber.
