Fair enough, over here where I am the power company is responsible to the first point of contact within the property.
So on a normal house it's to the roof/meterbox etc but out rural it's the first pole inside the boundary.
Some energy companies mandate spurless climbing for all tree work, yes even TD's if the tree is within the close approach distance to the wires. They believe that the spurs would mean if you got energized it would complete the circuit and blow ya feet off. Pretty tough going for climber especially blocking down trunks spurless. |
