Those stumps do not look like the work of a properly trained faller  , but sure there's a lot of supposition in that! There are a fair number of guys who cut for a living that have no idea of how to fall trees safely long term. In 2005 when I got my forestry manual harvesting certs we lost 6 really experienced forestry fallers in 6 months (all died at the stump various causes) |
