I remember back in the day, hearing yappin' about Homelites and McCullochs. I don't care for Homies that much, even though I did run some good ones. My Grandad ran Homelites, mostly because his drinking buddy sold them, same with me, my buddy sold Macs. I do own some Homelites, 5 I think, and maybe 10 or 12 Macs. Heck I've even owned a couple Stihls, one was a really good saw, the other only so so.
Anyway, whatever works for you, but the rivalry gets old pretty quick. If I was going to buy a new saw, I would be looking at the Dolmars.
