People here used to spray lindane six to eight foot up the
bark and it helped but one needs to understand eradication
of a bug is sometime detrimental in phc, many bugs or organisms
live in symbiosis with one another! Also the good bugs in phc can
be killed, introducing further stress to a already stressed tree.
Most times all we can do is limit them to populations that
the tree can endure! |
