It is water and dust proof. Very expensive over here, about ₤600. Much cheaper if you order direct from the States. Haven't really looked at the warranty, probably 12 months standard. What I like about it is that you switch it on, lock the keypad and then just start/stop the record on the wrist-remote as and when you want. So making the video doesn't really intrude on the job at all.
