Tree Machine,

I actually really enjoyed reading that post that you put all the time and effort into. My landlord had picked up an Alaskan Mill a couple years ago and we slabbed out some logs with it. He's done with it, only used it a couple times, and offered it to me for less than half what he payed for it. I might take him up on it seeing as how I've got a load of logs piling up here.

I'll let ya know what happens if I end up doing it, maybe you can give me some pointers.


Newguy, , you have some crappy excuse to buy a big saw, but then can't manage to justify $150 for a decent life-line? What gives?
