Great video once again Reg. Them beech tree's sure seem like ugly mofo's.

I believe that with the timber hitch a minimum of 3 wraps is the go, and for more friction against the wood - wrap it around the trunk trying to keep them all balanced with each other for maximum hold.

Timber hitch/Half hitch is also my number one for lowering out big wood.
