It's really interesting the way different work practices from other parts of the world influence how a job progresses. We wouldn't be able to get the larger cranes up here without a dogman supplied by the crane company, esp when they know you're going to be moving big chunks of timber. I've even seen video of an arb guy US with a type of crane that he controls fom the tree (I think that was youtube)
