Very good vid, we're not allowed to work from the jib of a crane like that, OH&S won't allow it, so I've never done that.(What are the regs for you using that technique?)
But I have worked with cranes and big timber from in the tree. Only thing that worried me was when you got into cutting the stem the first chunk with canopy came
very close to both you and your lines
No room for a tag line? or would that have run too close to the power lines?
Steve and I had to remove a very big raintree from an island resort a while ago with a 80T crane very tight spot using tag lines to avoid putting 3ton sections through the bar and resturant. (Was only the 2 of us so no photos sadly)
