You can but I dont know all the rules as I've been without guns now some 20 years.
The fastest most accurate gun I fired was a remington 22/250 and the guy made his own bullets. On a 400 yard range with a 15x scope it would group into 1" dia (50cent piece here). Damn that gun was accurate.
We used to use it for long range take downs of very smart foxes where you couldn't get close. I think it had bullet speed of around 4000ft/sec.
We used to spotlight at night and after shooting the fox would have to get some-one to walk out there and find it whislt we kept an eye on where it was shot. It was so far in the bush we did lose a few pelts, I suppose night vision or thermal would have helped.
So how does that gun compare to the one I just discussed?
