i did some clearing at the army base an hour from home. we were clearing bombing sites. they hAD a n explosives team cruisin in front of us with metal detectors retrieving undetonated devices. once i saw an unexploded cluster bomb piece stjcking threw a poplar. we cut, pushed into circle with huge dozer and burned.
some of the unexploded stuff caused fire to get a little outa control but they got it eventually. wasnt really a fan of thatg job. later in years i worked there again for a coupledays along side a brontosaurus chewing up larger roadside brush. found so busted 55 gal dfrums leaking green/yellow fluid. i havent grown that extra arm out me arse so it musta been semi safe.
