My tree care business subsidises my farm, but I consider myself a farmer first as you got to plow when the time is right. We work trees year round but winter time is when we do the most pruning. We also prefer to do our large removals in the winter time as the impact to the yards is lessened, not to mention, you can dress for the cold but you can only undress so much for the heat.
The older I get, the more cloths people want to see on me.
Summer is storm season here and we are kept busy enough doing storm work. Its NO fun working in a park with power lines and people all over the place, at least in the winter you only have to look out for the lines.
