Out here in southern California, alot of the pines in the area I live and the places I work are being hit by pine beetles.

Wanted to know if there are some feedback you all have for:

1. Specific things to look for showing that beetling is happening. (what, where to find it, etc)
2. Treatment if available, and how it's administered.
3. Pruning tips for such pines.

It's sad to see some of them go if they could've been saved, and some that h.o.'s are asking me if they can be treated.
