i voted on the poll I voted if it makes the climb safer.Hey when it comes down to it if theres no alternative and flat out saftey comes before the tree.I haven't used spikes on a prune job so far and hope I never have to.Oh btw rope don't they make saws with heated handles for people who see weather in the teens?
