My mate bought a new one, it does the same!
Also, for cleaning out the oil thingo every now and then I run fuel through it, have bar an chain off and make sure it's clean through and pumping. Sometimes the little gauze filter thing gets blocked a bit, right PITA to get too. But that doesn't stop the chain being crazy.
