Like had to happen eventually and it's not good business to send members elsewhere.
There's
Chainsaw Collectors.se :: Index which has a lot of historic saws and some good guys and help there.
And there's AS where that area is about 50% of the boards activity ... but you do get a bit sick of, "should I buy a Poulan or Craftsman? Does a 0.058" bar fit a 0.063" chain?
However, there's also a bunch or normal people who use saws daily and talk about it. That's probably me except I talk about it very little.
But I'm still having trouble with that bloody HT75 Pole Pruner. It's better but it aint perfect. The chain seems to have it's own brain, from tight to hanging out 1/2", bought a new bar, new drive sprocket etc .... all is good, everything is running true.
I then filed the aluminium faces flat and that helped but it's still a little odd how the chain can vary so much all in one tank of juice.
I climb with a 200T 14" lightweight bar, cheap groundsaw is ms250, palm saw is ms440 (preferable over 441), wood saws ms460 and ms660
