Screw those expensive belts ... worth changing over to Vee belts, perhaps triple with B profile.
A few have done the change over.
I run only 2 belts on my Kanga not 3 as it's direct drive and no adjustment ... yeah, like what sort of idiot designs a belt drive machine with no adjustment? You have to lever the belts on which every belt place will tell you destroys them ... anyway I get like 50 hours out of them easy and if starts to slip too much pop a third belt on.
Look at getting pulleys fitted or machined up, my belts cost $20 each and available everywhere.
Crikey, I even seen dirty great chippers run with v-belts not toothed. |
