My local dealer told me 020's, and all prof Stihl saws, were made to a different spec for USA and Australia. US models had chrome sprayed cylinder and Aus models have full chrome plated bore due to our dustier conditions. As previosly posted, I did import some saws from US in the 90's and did not have problems. They may have worn out quicker though, not sure about that.
