In close it is good for 36000pounds and at 100'4" from the truck(horizontal) its good for 1210#. This is complying with the load charts.
I use chains, nylon slings, Rope and knots. The attatchment varies sometimes straight choke sometimes 1/2 hitch then choke. Ususually with rope its a 1/2 hitch then a clove hitch.
