Dearly beloved,
we are gathered here today to celebrate the life and times of,

Eucalyptus Sideroxylon

Or "Old Ironbark" as he was known by family and friends.

He lived a rich and fullfilling life.
His family remember him fondly as a strong attractive seedling.
While many perished in the war he survived and continued to grow
He outlived many a celebrity, and witnessed many changes of government.
He stood tall through the stock market crash of "87",
and was there to see man landing on the moon during the 60's and 70's.

While his declining years were marred by ill health and ugliness,
he always managed to stand during the national anthem.

Here's to "Old Ironbark" , you will be sadly missed by,.....

no-one.

R.I.P.
