I used to be cheap and would not buy a flipline with a cable core. I was chunking out a white pine at about 40 feet. Almost threw my climbing rope as I didn't think I needed it anymore. I usually tied in twice but I figured I was only chunking out. I took a chunk of tree and 75 percent of my flipline. I got lucky and was able to lean forward and save my but. Yeah use a cable flipline and always double tie. No tree job is worth your life!!
