I'm continually amazed by the infinite value placed upon the most trivial and minuscule obstacle to our work, it's a conspiracy I tell ya!
In many instance the obstacles are actually placed with precision
AFTER WE QUOTE THE JOB!
For example, new deck with a hole cut for palm then cut the palm down (same happens with paving, concrete and roofs).
Build a new garden and plants beneath large old gum tree then cut the gum tree down.
Builders special, just put a whole $250,000 condo under it then ask for it to be cut down.
I am amazed by the ever increasing rate of obstaclization of our workplace.
Hey, I had the carpet cleaned a few days ago, basically they lift and move nothing and just do the carpet ... imagine if we were so lucky to do the same .... if you dont want it broken, MOVE IT! But nah, you arrive and have to move the pots, the dog shit, the cars, the dog, the hanging baskets so you dont get sconned, the hose, the wheelie bin, cover the fish pond, clean the pool, vacuum the house, clean the gutters, polish the windows
