Creaking in trees is usually from rubbing wood.
Scan the tree over and see if there's any branches rubbing or branches rubbing on structures.
Failing that then check to see if any of the forks (crotches) have evidence of cracking or splitting, this may have to be done by going up the tree.... perhaps best to have an arborist look it over. |
