Has anyone seen the BBC tv series "Planet Earth"? It has a fantastic sequence at the start of the "Seasonal Forests" episode that shows the scale of these trees. Its a ground to canopy pan done on a pulley cable system which shows 2* climbers jugging up.

I have the DVD set so i will see if a can get the sequence as a mpeg.
