Ekka that sounds like a straight forward response from Sherrill. I asked for comments on the durability of this new product to the other Tree Climber Coalition members in the US and so far I have not seen any opinions. I like the color combination ( Green-Orange) because they are easy to see in the type of trees that we ( Recreational Climbers) climb.
I was not satisfied with the durability of the previous throw weights made of soft "leatherlike" material. They break too fast at the seams. I have used the throw weights made by New Tribe a small manufacturing outfit in Oregon and they last a long time and are made of a very bright orange color and durable material and the price is very reasonable for the quality they provide.
