I have a system (right or wrong), for getting up there quick. set up your normal climbing line but thread through a pulley attached to another line. Throw up a throwbag and line, draw your other line over your now elevated position, and tie off to the 4X4 and get your groundy to drive off. you get one hell of a ride into the tree and get there damn fast in case of a rescue. Descend in the normal fashion. |
