Do you know what type of mandarin tree it is?

Fruit thinning is good, just how much I'm not sure, depends on the tree however 50% is a common number.

How big are the falling fruit? Maybe only tiny, less than say 3/4" dia, thin evenly around tree.

Need to make sure tree is healthy too, not over watered or too dry.
