Re: Right tree wrong place? murraya is being investigated as an environmental weed, it's popping up in bush land all over the place. Melaleuca bracteata "Revolution Gold" would be a suitable replacement for Duranta. and types of Syzygium would out do Murraya. local native Breynia oblongifolia has nice purple tinge to it and would replace Alternanthera. up here on the north side alot of the new estates are using natives which is good to see. Native Jasmine is beaut at the moment, out in flower, Pandorea jasminoides. you think it would be a good idea for councils to demonstate the practicality and aesthic appeal of our native species. |
